My hairdresser in Colorado Springs: A tale of two Americas

COLORADO SPRINGS – My hairdresser may well be the canary in the mind-shaft, politically.

She performs miracles in hairdressing—extensions, the perfect blond highlights, and haircuts that are subtle and effective.

First Lady Melania Trump.

She wears silver jewelry including a belt festooned with bullets. Clients hear her cell phone ring. It’s vintage Rose. It is the sound of a rifle being loaded and fired at close range.

In further description, Rose charges steep, but fair prices to her clients, yet has a homeless man working around her small business in Colorado City. Her salon is a mix of all types of people. “Diversity” thrives naturally here. One late evening, I met one of her regulars, the wife of a well-known religious Christian leader here in the Springs. The conversation that evening surrounded the Ten Commandments and other spiritual matters.

Conversations with Rose range from common sense politics to town gossip. There’s always music, hip young hairdressers, and a frolicking, happy atmosphere. Not only does one get the best hairstyle ever, one also walks from the salon somehow happier than on arrival.

Once her son, a high school honor student, and one of his friends dropped by. He immediately came over and politely introduced himself. Such are the manners of the son she’s raised as a single mother.

Yesterday, the subject at Rose’s station was all about how to achieve a ‘high butt,’ and the perfect jeans to achieve that youthful look. The consensus was a certain brand at Cavender’s, the western outfitter in the Springs for all things cowgirl.

The subject eventually turned to magazine covers and the fine analysis only women can perform on the beauty subjects:

“Look at her hair. That’s gotta be extensions.” Someone complained she was sorry we weren’t seeing more of Melania Trump, the First Lady, in the magazines.

“She’s beautiful and fashionable.”

To which Rose responded:

“It’s perfectly okay that she’s still not living in the White House.”

As many know, Melania moved to the White House just after her son’s school term in New York City finished. Like all First Ladies, she’s decorated the private quarters and taken a hand in holiday planning. She’s shaken the hands of many world leaders, visited their hospitals and schools, and always charmed her hosts while showing a beautiful side to her country.

How many people believe Melania still does not reside in the White House? And, using this as an indication, how many people know that our county’s foundations and laws have been turned upside down by the outgoing Obama Administration? Hundreds of Americans are being spied upon for no good reason. A high court overseeing wire-taps are lied to by national security practitioners. Billions of dollars are been funneled to Iran in exchange for “donations” to certain players’ private foundations.

Hard evidence (cell phone records and emails) revealed by numerous investigations in the past eighteen months has shown Obama employees thought nothing of trashing the Hatch Act under which government employees are not allowed to let their personal political feelings intrude on the nation’s business.

They milked the public for more and more money with which to remain in power and in control. They allowed the public to see only so much of their reality. After all, everything is labelled “secret,” and they are the experts who can decide what, if anything, might be released to the American public.

Pre-Donald Trump, investigations of these officials lining their pockets have amounted to little. Facts are thrown into the waste bin of history, the better to continue the political free-for-all by many in Washington.

Pre-Donald Trump’s draining of the swamp, the names of those complicit in this mafia-like government were still extolled in the nation’s mainstream media as outstanding examples of governmental demeanor. They covered their ‘transactions’ with pretty, politically correct speech repeated by a compliant and complicit media. They see themselves as counter to Melania’s husband, who they see as a vulgar man with little patience for those feeding at the public trough and who must be stopped.

Trump’s training ground was the New York building industry. He’s dealt with the toughest of the tough all his life—New York City building trades. Want to pour concrete in Mid-Town? Better negotiate that with the gangsters in control of such matters. Donald Trump got his chops on the streets. He lives on results. He sets goals and races to finish them. Not quite the typical Washington bureaucratic cadence, to say the least.

Melania, who “still lives apart from her husband,” speaks five languages. She is a legal immigrant from Slovenia. She was a model, and now she’s our most beautiful First Lady.
But she, along with the rest of Trump’s highly educated family, is regularly trashed for the sin of supporting a man who is disturbing their peace.

Rose’s innocent observation made in passing at her salon is more revealing than it seems. It demonstrates that there are now two countries: One reveres America’s long history of law and order. And wishes someone would clean up the Washington cesspool.

The other continues to accept the “Fake News” dished by the Mainstream Media, MSM. Lies, innuendo, and false accusations are repeated across America’s communications networks, networks we have come to believe for many years.

But everything has changed over the past fifty years.

As in China, Russia, Cuba, and Venezuela, the leaders of the Deep State have taken control. Never mind how they got there or what they are doing in our name to remain there. And they’ve co-opted the MSM as their “chosen people.” Government shysters’ new ally is a praetorian guard, groomed to repeat their stories and cover up their more questionable work.

Rose is smart, a “with it” woman. She’s a woman of common sense and joy in her life. Yet, she, like so many others, is unaware of what’s really happening behind the curtain of the Beltway.

Thanks to the all-powerful media:

A lie makes it around the world seven times before the truth can get its pants on.

Meanwhile, Donald Trump, outsider extraordinaire, the bull in America’s china shop, continues to plow his way through the steaming morass of politics to achieve great things. His eye is trained on Iran’s nuclear program. On North Korea’s nuclear program. On Vlad’s Russia. And on the Other America.

He’s draining the swamp, alligator by alligator. And the natives are not happy. History tells us that one of our country’s greatest presidents, Abraham Lincoln, had to sneak into Washington for his own inaugural.

Change hurts. Change claws itself away. Change is interesting yet horrifying.

Will both America’s eventually pull themselves together for the preservation of a great country?

Only time, but no major media outlets, will tell.
