And he knows he can always count on the Biden administration to faithfully provide cover for him.<\/p>\n<p>Reuters <a href=\"https:\/\/www.reuters.com\/world\/us\/us-deeply-alarmed-by-georgias-foreign-agent-bill-sullivan-says-2024-05-11\/\">reported<\/a> May 11:<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\"><em>About 50,000 opponents of a \u201cforeign agents\u201d bill marched peacefully in heavy rain through the Georgian capital on Saturday, after the United States said the country had to choose between the \u201cKremlin-style\u201d law and the people&#8217;s <strong>Euro-Atlantic aspirations.<\/strong><\/em><em>\u00a0<\/em><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\"><em>\u201cWe are deeply alarmed about <strong>democratic backsliding<\/strong> in Georgia,\u201d White House national security adviser Jake Sullivan wrote on X.<\/em><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\"><em>\u201cGeorgian Parliamentarians face a critical choice \u2013 whether to support the Georgian people\u2019s EuroAtlantic aspirations or pass a Kremlin-style foreign agents&#8217; law that runs counter to democratic values,\u201d he said. \u201cWe stand with the Georgian people.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n<p>Just exactly why a tiny nation of some 3.7 million people tucked in the Caucasus Mountains should have \u201cEuro-Atlantic aspirations\u201d seems bizarre on the surface. In actuality, the term is just another meaningless buzzword for globalism. Plastic nationalist Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni <a href=\"https:\/\/www.worldtribune.com\/just-how-far-right-is-italys-nationalist-giorgia-meloni\/\">has uttered<\/a> similar gobbledygook about that unfortunate country\u2019s commitment to an \u201cAtlantic Alliance\u201d that makes it subservient to \u201cinternational law.\u201d<\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_135181\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-135181\" style=\"width: 425px\" class=\"wp-caption alignleft\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-135181\" src=\"https:\/\/www.worldtribune.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/05\/tbilisi.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"425\" height=\"294\" \/><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-135181\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Activists in Tbilisi protest Georgia&#8217;s &#8216;foreign agents&#8217; bill.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>Yes, the notorious nation-destroying globalist billionaire can pay for street demonstrations in Tbilisi just as he does in cities around the world. And he can count on Biden officials to present his efforts to undermine the national sovereignty of an independent country as noble work in the defense of \u201cdemocracy.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Despite the organized agitation, the legislation <a href=\"https:\/\/www.france24.com\/en\/live-news\/20240514-%F0%9F%94%B4-georgian-parliament-approves-controversial-foreign-influence-bill-after-third-and-final-reading\">passed<\/a> parliament on May 14.<\/p>\n<p>Cue the dominant narrative outrage.<\/p>\n<p>The usual progressive ruling establishment spokes \u2013 media, NGOs, internationalist think tanks and more \u2013\u00a0all do their part in spinning a nation\u2019s internal affairs as a malevolent assault on that cherished phantasm they call the international rule of law.<\/p>\n<p>Elitist globalist magazine Foreign Policy <a href=\"https:\/\/foreignpolicy.com\/2024\/05\/10\/georgia-foreign-agents-law-protests-violence-assault-titushki-ivanishvili\/\">wrote<\/a> May 10:<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\"><em>Tens of thousands of demonstrators have taken to the streets in Georgia in the South Caucasus in recent weeks to protest a controversial proposed new law that many fear, if passed, <strong>would be the death knell of a once-promising young democracy<\/strong> and drive the country firmly into Moscow\u2019s orbit.<\/em><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\"><em>The \u201cforeign agents\u201d law would require organizations that receive more than 20 percent of their funding from abroad to register as \u201cagents of foreign influence.\u201d It is modeled on similar legislation that Russia enacted in 2012 and has used to cast independent <strong>media and civic society groups<\/strong> as doing the bidding of foreign governments and to crack down on dissent.<\/em><\/p>\n<p>Heavily <a href=\"https:\/\/www.hrw.org\/news\/2010\/09\/07\/george-soros-give-100-million-human-rights-watch\">Soros-funded<\/a> NGO Human Rights Watch <a href=\"https:\/\/www.hrw.org\/news\/2024\/05\/09\/georgia-foreign-influence-bill-threatens-rights\">chimed in<\/a> on May 9:<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\"><em>The Georgian parliament\u2019s introduction of a bill obliging certain nongovernmental groups and media outlets to register as \u201corganizations serving the interests of a foreign power\u201d <strong>threatens fundamental rights in the country<\/strong>, Human Rights Watch said today.<\/em><\/p>\n<p>Given everything formerly free citizens of any Western nation have seen from these bad-faith actors in recent years, a simple question comes to mind: what is so bad about a country seeking to quash undue foreign influence on its social, cultural and information institutions?<\/p>\n<p>HRW disconsolately notes:<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\"><em>Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze justified the need for the bill by pointing to initiatives that criticize the authorities or challenge government policies, claiming that some civic groups <strong>tried to \u201corganize a revolution\u201d<\/strong> in 2020 and 2022, <strong>\u201cengage in LGBT propaganda,\u201d<\/strong> and \u201c<strong>discredit the police, judiciary, and the Georgian Orthodox Church.\u201d<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n<p>Are any of these concerns so unbelievable to anyone who has been paying the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.worldtribune.com\/king-george-soros-isnt-buying-up-corrupted-u-s-media-outlets-he-already-owns-them\/\">least bit<\/a> of attention to what <a href=\"https:\/\/www.worldtribune.com\/life-in-a-banana-republic-the-betrayal-of-the-elites\/\">has been happening<\/a> in the United States over the past 25-odd years?<\/p>\n<p>U.S.-taxpayer funded globalist mouthpiece Voice of America glumly <a href=\"https:\/\/www.voanews.com\/a\/georgia-poised-to-adopt-foreign-influence-transparency-law-akin-to-russia-s\/7600259.html\">echoes<\/a> the crux of the matter:<\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\"><em>Kobakhidze has accused foreign diplomats and Western officials of baseless and humiliating criticism and \u201cspeaking the language of blackmail.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 30px;\"><em>Kobakhidze accused foreign-funded NGOs and media organizations of exacerbating <strong>\u201cradicalism and polarization, <\/strong>supporting the revolutionary processes, <strong>war propaganda, pseudo-liberal ideology<\/strong> and <strong>actions against<\/strong> the national and <strong>religious identity of Georgia<\/strong>.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #000080;\"><strong>WorldTribune<span style=\"color: #808080;\"><em>.com<\/em><\/span><\/strong><\/span> has documented Soros\u2019s poisonous actions across the globe. He has moved to exert undue control over <a href=\"https:\/\/www.worldtribune.com\/poisonous-outside-influencer-soros-gobbles-up-huge-chunk-of-key-polish-publisher\/\">Polish media<\/a> outlets and was accused of doing the same in El Salvador until enormously popular President <a href=\"https:\/\/www.worldtribune.com\/kicking-soros-out-new-el-salvador-law-targets-outside-influencers\/\">Nayib Bukele<\/a> ushered in a new law taxing foreign money influencers a whopping 40 percent. Bukele has long seen Soros as a foul presence in his country.<\/p>\n<p>He is doing the same thing in Georgia, with the overt help of a Biden administration that features a secretary of State <a href=\"https:\/\/www.worldtribune.com\/secretary-of-state-antony-blinkens-family-ties-to-george-soros-run-root-deep\/\">whose father<\/a> was one of his closest friends and allies for decades.<\/p>\n<p>Soros is heavily involved in the Caucasus nation. An Open Society Foundations <a href=\"https:\/\/www.opensocietyfoundations.org\/newsroom\/the-open-society-foundations-in-georgia\">fact sheet<\/a> for 2019 reveals that the flagship Soros organization budgeted $4.7 million for its actions there for that year alone. That is just the tip of a very deep iceberg.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cTo date, the foundation has invested over $85 million to support Georgia\u2019s social and economic development,\u201d OSF states. \u201cFrom helping the Georgian government fulfill its ambitions to integrate with the European Union to building support for human rights and good governance, the Open Society Georgia Foundation continues to fund and support a broad range of local partners working for positive change.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The various OSF programs Soros has unleashed on this small nation speak volumes as to his malevolent intent:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Thirty percent of the 2019 OSF Georgia budget went to \u201cdemocratic practice and human rights.\u201d By now it should be understood that he word \u201cdemocratic\u201d as used by these entities simply means anything that boosts the ruling globalist progressive establishment running roughshod in the West today.<\/li>\n<li>Eleven percent went to \u201cequality and anti-discrimination.\u201d This would be the polarization and anti-religious activity Kobakhidze was talking about.<\/li>\n<li>Fifteen percent went to \u201cjustice system reform.\u201d Is there a George Floyd in Georgia? Weakening law and order is a classic way to sow social unrest.<\/li>\n<li>Nineteen percent went to \u201chealth &amp; rights.\u201d This surely means abortion, homosexuality, transgenderism and who knows what else (euthanasia?).<\/li>\n<li>And, naturally, 17 percent went to \u201cjournalism.\u201d<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>All of this is what the Biden administration calls \u201cdefending democracy.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Secretary of State <span style=\"color: #333399;\"><a style=\"color: #333399;\" href=\"https:\/\/www.worldtribune.com\/secretary-of-state-antony-blinkens-family-ties-to-george-soros-run-root-deep\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Antony Blinken, son of close Soros associate Donald Blinken<\/a><\/span>, has openly acknowledged that the \u201cindependent media\u201d line simply means transnationalism.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cA free and independent media makes our democracies stronger, the Transatlantic Alliance more resilient, and is fundamental to the bilateral relationship,\u201d Blinken said in August 2021 as he opposed Polish efforts to rein in Soros media control.<\/p>\n<p>The threat of pulling international finance out of Poland was also clearly expressed.<\/p>\n<p>\u201c[Blinken] warned that if the media law was passed it \u2018could undermine Poland\u2019s strong investment climate,\u2019\u201d Courthouse News reported at the time.<\/p>\n<p>Not very subtle, is he? This is exactly what Kobakhidze was referring to when he described foreign officials as \u201cspeaking the language of blackmail.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>For all their pretenses of sophistication and intelligence, the overlords of globalism are at their core thugs, as befits their organized crime nature.
