{"id":149322,"date":"2025-09-01T14:22:53","date_gmt":"2025-09-01T19:22:53","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/worldtribune.com\/?p=149251"},"modified":"2025-09-01T14:22:53","modified_gmt":"2025-09-01T19:22:53","slug":"peer-reviewed-study-covid-shot-linked-to-increased-risk-in-multiple-types-of-cancer","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/worldtribune.com\/2025\/peer-reviewed-study-covid-shot-linked-to-increased-risk-in-multiple-types-of-cancer\/","title":{"rendered":"Peer-reviewed study: Covid shot linked to increased risk in multiple types of cancer"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><span style=\"color: #808080;\"><em>by<\/em><\/span> <span style=\"color: #006699;\"><strong>WorldTribune<\/strong> <span style=\"color: #808080;\"><em>Staff<\/em><\/span><\/span><span style=\"color: #808080;\"><em>, September 1, 2025 <\/em><a href=\"https:\/\/www.worldtribune.com\/about\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><span style=\"color: #3366ff;\">Real World News<\/span><\/a><\/span><strong>\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The Covid injection has been tied to an alarming spike in multiple types of cancer, according to a new <a href=\"https:\/\/pmc.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov\/articles\/PMC12381369\/\">peer-reviewed study<\/a> out of Italy.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_149263\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-149263\" style=\"width: 387px\" class=\"wp-caption alignleft\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\" wp-image-149263\" src=\"http:\/\/worldtribune.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/09\/Pescara-Province-300x178.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"387\" height=\"230\" \/><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-149263\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">The research monitored every resident 11 and older in Italy\u2019s Pescara province from June 2021 through December 2023.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>Individuals who had received the Covid shot or shots appeared more likely to be hospitalized with a new cancer diagnosis than those who were unvaccinated, particularly for cancers of the breast, bladder, and colon, the study found.<\/p>\n<p>The researchers based their study on a population-wide cohort of nearly 300,000 people tracked over 30 months.<\/p>\n<p>Researchers followed every resident aged 11 and older in Italy\u2019s Pescara province from June 2021 through December 2023, examining hospital records and adjusting for age, sex, prior health conditions, and even prior Covid infection.<\/p>\n<p>The study\u2019s findings:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Hospitalizations for cancer were 35% higher<\/strong> in vaccinated individuals versus the unvaccinated (HR 1.23).<\/li>\n<li>The link was strongest in <strong>men<\/strong> and in those with no prior Covid infection.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Overall cancer risk<\/strong>: +23% after just one dose.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Breast cancer<\/strong>: +54% risk after injection.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Bladder cancer<\/strong>: +62% increased risk.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Colorectal cancer<\/strong>: +35% increased risk.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The researchers noted that those who receive the Covid shots are usually healthier, wealthier, and more likely to get preventative care, a phenomenon called the \u201chealthy vaccine bias.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The Gateway Pundit\u2019s Jim Hoft noted; \u201cIf anything, the numbers should have shown lower cancer rates. Instead, cancers surged.
