Justice Alito dismantles Democrats’ birthright citizenship argument

Justice Sam Alito on Wednesday issued a major national security warning about birthright citizenship for illegal aliens while dismantling the Democrats’ argument on the issue.

It all happened as President Donald Trump became the first president in history to attend oral arguments in the U.S. Supreme Court.

Chinese, Iranian, or Russian illegal immigrants could have children in the U.S., Alito said, and those American citizens would then have a duty to fight for a foreign country.

“They have the duty of military service. It seems that makes them subject to a foreign power.”

Alito continued: “Not subject to any foreign power is pretty straightforward. So let me give you these examples. A boy is born here to an Iranian father who has entered the country illegally.

“That boy is automatically an Iranian national at birth and he has a duty to provide military service to the Iranian government, is he not subject to any foreign power?

“What I said about a boy born to an Iranian father is true of children born here to parents who were nationals of other countries. It’s true to a child who’s born here to Russian parents.”

Revolver News noted of Alito’s argument: “This is a heavyweight in constitutional law saying the text, history, and original meaning do not support the scam the Left is trying desperately to protect.”

Revolver News continued: “If this country can’t get control of this massive immigration scam, then the bigger messes will never get fixed. It’ll just keep rolling on, decade after decade, with foreigners gaming our system by flying here to give birth on American soil and waltzing away with an American citizen child as a perfect little legal anchor baby for the future.

“That was never the point of the 14th Amendment, and deep down, everybody knows it, especially Democrats.

“When Trump retook the White House, he moved quickly to shut this down, and of course the Left ran to the courts because they need this racket to stay in power. Now, the Supreme Court is staring down one of the most abused and twisted parts of our immigration law.”

Meanwhile, liberal Justice Ketanji Brown Jackson argued for the side based on activism and emotion:
