Following Wednesday’s Senate hearing in which Anthony Fauci took the Fifth 111 times, Wyoming Republican Sen. Cynthia Lummis linked the elevated U.S. Covid death toll, relative to other nations, to the suppression of early treatment options.
In an interview with The Gateway Pundit, Lummis said of Fauci: “He’s responsible for the overwhelming number of deaths that occurred in this country that did not occur in other countries because they were using ivermectin.
“Virologists worldwide knew that ivermectin was a successful treatment and inexpensive – and Dr. Fauci opposed what he knew was a successful and inexpensive and readily available treatment. And he has a lot to answer for.”
More than one million Americans died from the Covid virus. Early on in the pandemic, whistleblower physicians and nurses described CDC-aligned hospital protocols such as immediate intubation, exclusive use of Remdesivir, and the restriction of ivermectin and hydroxychloroquine as lethal.
Independent media including WorldTribune.com and The Gateway Pundit have long reported on the effectiveness of alternative Covid treatments and the suppression of those reporting on it. That suppression continues six years later.

Dr. Ben Marble told The Gateway Pundit that hospitals “stopped administering all the drugs that work—they stopped the ivermectin, they stopped the hydroxychloroquine” and followed protocols that produced America’s highest death rates.
The Gateway Pundit noted: “Physician Assistant Scott Miller, who treated thousands of Covid patients before his license was revoked, secretly recorded hundreds of hours of audio of doctors and hospital staff refusing ivermectin. Families who managed to bring the drug into facilities reported recoveries; those under the standard regimen deteriorated and died.”
One of those who used the alternative methods to great success, Texas-based Dr. Stella Immanuel, reported how none of the hundreds of Covid patients she treated with hydroxychloroquine died.
